Louisa & Lee planned their London wedding in 4 months, from the classic Route master buses to the handmade favours, they thought of everything to make sure them and their guests had a day to remember. And how fantastic for us to photograph our last wedding of 2016 in our home city, London!
Earlier this year, we photographed their Engagement shoot in Greenwich, and we were so excited to be photographing their wedding!
The bride got ready at her parent’s home in East London, her five bridesmaids were looking after her whilst the prosecco flowed and the Christmas tree lights twinkled. The bride stepped into her beautiful Pranette Wedding Dress from Pronovias and those shoes from True Decadence made Kerrie smile with joy as she just loved them! Louisa and her bridesmaids made their way to the Church where the groom was waiting.
The bride and groom glowed as they took their vows and had a traditional Roman Catholic Wedding at St Mary & St Michael church, it was such a beautiful ceremony surrounded by all their family and friends.
After the ceremony all the guests boarded the London Route master buses and headed for Greenwich, passing great London landmarks such as Tower Bridge and the Cutty Sark.
We arrived at The Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich and headed along the Thames for some photos of the newlyweds. The guests made their way up to the Nelson Rooms to the evening reception adorned with flowers and a Christmas tree. The table names were London themed, and the top table was ‘Brick Lane’ where the couple met!
Everybody enjoyed good food and the all important speeches were made. The bride & groom cut their beautiful wedding cake by Kelly Cakes Artistry, then took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife.
It was such a great way to end our wedding season of 2016 and we can not wait to share our journey with you in 2017, we would both like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
