Nicki & Yves have been together two years and decided to say ‘I do’ at the Sandford Springs golf club & hotel in Kingsclere, Hampshire.
It is a beautiful location between Newbury & Basingstoke. And a stone’s throw from Highclere Castle, aka Downtown Abbey.
The bride got ready in the bridal suite along with her two bridesmaids & flower girl. Nicki chose ice blue for her maids dresses. After stepping into her own, beautiful wedding gown, the bride made her way to the ceremony in one of the clubs golf buggies!
Yves was welcoming all their guests as they gathered in the Clock House. The music started playing and Nicki walked down the aisle accompanied by her father.
After a lovely, and a touch emotional ceremony, everybody headed outside for the couples confetti shot.
Robin, the wedding coordinator at Sandford Springs, asked us to hop in a golf buggy with him, and took us off with the bride & groom following, for some photos on the stunning grounds of the golf course. It was a beautiful winters day, with low sun and a touch of frost in the air.
We headed back to the reception where a surprise was waiting for the groom who is a big marvel fan. The bride had arranged a ‘double take’ wedding cake which looked beautiful & traditional from the front, but on the back it was split to reveal a mix of Marvel & DC characters!!
Everybody enjoyed the speeches, then the bride & groom took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband & wife.
Congratulations Mr & Mrs O’Hara, and thank you for letting us be a part of your day!
