Somerset Wedding Photographers
We are so happy to share this beautiful Somerset wedding with you today! We first met Zoe & Ben for a coffee when we were living in London, we listened all about how Ben grew up in Kings Hall School in Taunton and how the place had so many wonderful memories for him and his family there. They were planning on a church ceremony then onto a Disney themed reception back at Kings Hall as the bride is a HUGE Disney fan! Little did we know when we first met them that we would actually be moving 10 minutes down the road from Kings Hall School in Taunton!
Zoe and her bridesmaids stayed in Taunton the night before the wedding. We arrived there in the morning just ahead of the brides dad who had been sent out to collect the Starbucks order! The bride sipped her Starbucks whilst classic Disney songs rang out around the house. All the girls had their hair and make-up done before a bottle of champagne was poured and the bride stepped into her dress.
James left to meet the groom and his groomsmen at Kings Hall School. Their transport arrived, we were over the moon to see Lily the VW campervan turn up driven by our good friend Paul from Love Bug Wedding Cars!
The forecast had predicted rain so the bride ordered some yellow Joules wellington boots and Kerrie couldn’t resist grabbing a quick photo with her beautiful bouquet full off Sunflowers in them. But luckily the wellies weren’t needed today, which is a shame as they were so lovely! Lily the campervan arrived and escorted the bridesmaids then the bride to the church. It was a beautiful ceremony. The bride told the organist to play some Disney music, what a moment when all the guests were singing and swaying to ‘Chim Chiminey’ whilst the newlyweds signed the register!
We all headed outside for a few family photos then everyone made the short journey to Kings Hall School. Drinks were served on the lawn as the sun shone and everyone took it in turn to congratulate the newlyweds. At the wedding breakfast the groom was served THE biggest dessert we have ever seen! His face lit up when it arrived. The speeches were made and the cake was cut. ‘Fly me to the moon’ rang out as the couple had their first dance. Then it was the brides nephews turn to hit the decks as DJ Dip Dip (as he loves tomato sauce!). We left everyone dancing the night away to Baby Shark.
