MORE THAN JUST PHOTOGRAPHERS - A WEDDING EXPERIENCE YOU’LL TRULY FEEL
At James & Kerrie, we believe your wedding photography should be more than just beautiful images, it should be a seamless, heartfelt experience that lets you feel fully present on one of the most important days of your life.
Unlike many photography services, we are a husband and wife team with 12 years of experience working side-by-side as two lead photographers. This allows us to capture your day from multiple perspectives, ensuring nothing is missed from the big, emotional moments to the delicate, in-between details.
But what truly sets us apart is our approach: we don’t just stand behind the lens. We’re there to guide and support you when needed, helping you feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely yourself. We understand that you want to enjoy your wedding day without constantly being aware of the cameras. That’s why our clients often tell us they felt more like they were spending the day with friends who happened to be photographers.
Our style is timeless and romantic, crafted for couples who appreciate classic imagery with a relaxed, authentic feel. Every photo is edited by us because we believe the final product should be just as meaningful as the day itself.
When we're not photographing weddings, you’ll find us enjoying a sunrise sea dip (yes even in the winter!) or exploring the South West on James’ motorbike. We are always on the lookout for a good coffee house and enjoy walks with our cheeky Boston Terrier, Lily (dogs at weddings HIGHLY recommended!).
If this sounds like the kind of experience you’re looking for, we’d love to meet you. Whether you'd prefer a relaxed Zoom chat or a coffee at our home, just get in touch below.
OUR STORY
We’re James & Kerrie, a husband-and-wife duo who fell in love with each other and wedding photography.
Our story started online (yes, Kerrie made the first move with a cheeky “like” 🙌). A first date in London turned into moving in together just four months later, in the tiniest flat you can imagine in London Bridge. A few months on, James got down on one knee right in the middle of Tower Bridge (Kerrie’s favourite spot in the city!) and she, of course, said yes.
We tied the knot ourselves on the beautiful Greek island of Zakynthos, surrounded by the Ionian sea, blue accents and all the joy you’d expect, and that’s probably where our love for weddings truly began.
Before life behind the lens became our full-time dream job, we both worked in the NHS for years. Those days taught us how to stay calm in the chaos, multitask like pros, and always lead with kindness. Eventually, we swapped hospital shifts for golden hours and confetti showers, moving to James’s home county of Somerset to to follow our dreams of becoming full time wedding photographers in the South West.
Now, over a decade and hundreds of weddings later, we still pinch ourselves that this is our job. We get to meet the loveliest couples, witness the best parties, and tell stories that last forever. And honestly? We wouldn’t want it any other way.
