Winter wedding at Crowcombe Court with touches of sage green - Crowcombe Court wedding photographer
Kathyryn and Steve had the most beautiful wedding at Crowcombe Court, and it was our 1st winter wedding in Somerset too so we were even more excited than usual! The couple booked us for our ever popular micro-package, we arrived a short while ahead of the ceremony, the Great Hall at this stunning Somerset wedding venue looked spectacular with a towering Christmas tree adorning the room!
The bride made her way down the sweeping staircase, she looked the epitome of a beautiful winter bride with her long, lace sleeved wedding dress. It was a lovely ceremony among their close family & friends, and the family dog Alfie enjoyed a front seat! We absolutely love it when couples include their pets in their wedding day, we couldn’t resist patting Alfie’s head every time we passed him, he was adorable!
We all headed out to the steps leading from the Great Hall and everyone showered the couple with confetti. All the guests enjoyed drinks and congratulated the newlyweds before we took them away for some beautiful couple portraits around the grounds of Crowcombe Court. We are always so happy when the bride has chosen a long veil as we love to use it for some beautiful shots. And we have fallen in love with sage green, we have seen this gorgeous colour a lot at weddings this year, and we were over the moon to see Kathryn's bridesmaids in their stunning sage green bridesmaids dresses, a perfect colour for any time of the year!
Their pretty wedding cake was made by our good friend Holly, photographing the wedding cake is always one of our favourite parts of the day! And they had included a few cupcakes alongside their two-tiered cream wedding cake adorned with flowers. As the happy couple headed into their wedding breakfast, we said our goodbyes and left them to enjoy the rest of their wedding day.
