Lucy and Josh chose the beautiful Dairyhouse Farm in Somerset to say 'I do’ and it was perfect for the relaxed, country farm wedding they were looking for.

Weddings at Coombe Lodge in Blagdon are pure magic!! From the stunning Manor house to the beautiful grounds, we always get a little too excited when returning to photograph a wedding at this dream Bristol wedding venue, and this wedding was no exception! We arrived on a sunny May morning, we always like to arrive a little early so we can prepare for the day ahead.

Ever since Anna & Jamie booked us as their Coombe Lodge wedding photographers we have been looking forward to their day! Despite it being a year later than planned, it was SO worth the wait. The day started in the beautiful bridal suite at this stunning Somerset wedding venue, Kerrie headed up to where the girls were all being pampered and drinking Prosecco, there was such a relaxed atmosphere.

When planning your wedding day, there is a never ending list of wedding to-dos! Of course you have to make sure you have all the big stuff ready like the correct paperwork and the registrars booked etc, but don’t over-look the smaller details! After photographing weddings for over 8 years we have picked up on the little things that can get overlooked or forgotten about on the wedding day, and as always, we’re here to help! Mid-week weddings in Somerset are becoming more and more popular, and we couldn’t be happier! With fewer and fewer weekend dates being available due to the wedding boom this year, a weekday wedding is the way forward. Bianca and Dan planned their mid-week wedding at Crowcombe Court and we were over-the-moon to be there to photograph it all!

Ever since visiting the majestic Coombe Lodge in Blagdon a few years ago, we have been yearning to photograph a wedding here, and our dreams of being a Coombe Lodge Photographer finally came true!
When Holly & Dan first contacted us and told us about their plans for their wedding day, from the wedding theme of 'bringing the outside in’, to the beautiful green tones and doughnuts, lots and lots of doughnuts, we just knew this Coombe Lodge wedding was going to be magical.

A typical wedding day timeline. As Somerset wedding photographers, timings are probably one of our top priorities for any wedding day, ok so we don’t need to know what’s going to be happening every single second of the day, but we need to know key moments so we can prepare.

Matt & Molly had their wedding at beautiful Elmhay Park on the Orchardleigh Estate in Frome. After a couple of postponements due to you-know-what, it was so lovely to see them they finally have their day, and it was so worth the wait! We were all weather watching in the lead up to the wedding day as storm Eunice was heading our way, luckily it passed the day before their wedding, nothing was stopping their big day this time!!

Weekday weddings in Somerset are becoming increasingly popular, it seems like Wednesdays are the new Saturdays for weddings! Francesca and Ian asked us to photograph their beautiful wedding day at Crowcombe Court, they chose our ever popular Micro-package which is perfect for couples looking for photography coverage from the ceremony, to family photos and of course the all-important couple portraits.

Emma & Graham had the most wonderful relaxed wedding at Charlton House Spa which is a stunning country retreat situated in Somerset surrounded by the Mendip Hills. We arrived and headed straight to the bride, this was our first time photographing a wedding at Charlton House Spa so we were super excited to be at a new wedding venue in Somerset.

We are kicking off the new year with one of our favourite weddings of 2021! Lydia & Luke got married at Dillington Cider Barn, a new Somerset wedding venue in the heart of the English Countryside. It was important to the couple to keep the wedding as eco-friendly as possible so there were lots of DIY items which made the day so personal to them.

Kathyryn and Steve had the most beautiful wedding at Crowcombe Court, and it was our 1st winter wedding in Somerset too so we were even more excited than usual! The couple booked us for our ever popular micro-package, we arrived a short while ahead of the ceremony, the Great Hall at this stunning Somerset wedding venue looked spectacular with a towering Christmas tree adoring the room!

From the beautiful pastel colours, the gorgeous lace dress to the game of tennis between the newlyweds(!), we have the most fun wedding day at Holbrook Manor for you! Alice and Andy were just the loveliest couple to be around with the warmest smiles. We are always so happy to return to one of our favourite Somerset wedding venues, Holbrook Manor, we know the day is going to be just magical and the team are always so helpful!

When Chip and Dovile first got in touch to discuss their wedding at Dillington House we were over the moon as we had been itching to photograph at this amazing Somerset wedding venue! They were planning a relaxed micro-wedding with their close friends and family and were looking for beautiful natural wedding photography which is our speciality!

Crowcombe Court wedding photographers. When Naomi & Sonny first contacted us about their wedding at Crowcombe Court we were so excited!! They were planning a forest green and ivory wedding with little accents of their love of music, gaming & Harry Potter! We knew this was going to be a fantastic day!

Laura and Ivo had a beautiful summers wedding at one of our favourite Somerset wedding venues, Holbrook Manor, which is the most romantic wedding venue with those modern touches and beautiful light throughout which we adore! The couple originally booked a New Years Eve wedding but decided to postpone until later in the year due to Covid restrictions, they still kept a touch of winter luxury with an abundance of foliage and candles with lots of sage green and touches of gold.

Amy and Adam had the most beautiful wedding at Hestercombe Gardens earlier this year. Like a lot of couples, they had to move their original date from last year due to the obvious, so it was wonderful to see them finally have their day at the stunning orangery at Hestercombe.

Holly and Ashley got married at the beautiful Shilstone House in Devon. We arrived at this romantic Devon wedding venue on a glorious summers day and headed to the bride. As we had photographed Holly & Ashleys church ceremony last year, we had got to know the bridal party and it was like seeing old friends again! There was such a fantastic atmosphere as all the final touches were being done. All the girls were drinking prosecco and enjoying a delicious brunch by a fantastic new company in Devon called Bridal Brunches, all arranged by the brides lovely sister Hayley.
